Together, Former SC Lt. Governor Andre Bauer and Kamala Harris Were Groomed by The Aspen Institute
South Carolina has a Big Aspen Institute Problem and We Must Work Against Them!
While serving as the lieutenant governor of South Carolina under Governor Mark Sanford, Andre Bauer spent some of his time traveling the world with Kamala Harris. According to Bauer on a post he made five years ago on LinkedIn, the Aspen Institute sent him and Kamala “with 18 of the nations most promising young political leaders, to explore through study and civil bipartisan dialogue.”
Bauer finished the post by stating, “While we may have different views, we have to be willing to work together, for the greater of our amazing country.” In the post, he included a link to the Harris for President LinkedIn webpage.
The late U.S. Senator Jesse Helms who is still regarded today as one of the most conservative Congressmen of the 20th century, once warned Americans about the Aspen Institute by stating, “A careful examination of what is happening behind the scenes reveals that all of these interests are working in concert with the masters of the Kremlin in order to create what some refer to as a new world order. Private organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the Trilateral Commission, the Dartmouth Conference, THE ASPEN INSTITUTE FOR HUMANISTIC STUDIES, the Atlantic Institute, and the Bilderberg Group serve to disseminate and to coordinate the plans for this so-called new world order in powerful business, financial, academic, and official circles.”
This news organization has previously reported on how the Aspen Institute has been grooming former Congressman Trey Gowdy, U.S. Senator Tim Scott, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, South Carolina Senator Shane Massey and other South Carolina elected public servants through an organization named Liberty Fellowship which is based in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Instead of participating in the Aspen Institute’s Liberty Fellowship like Gowdy, Scott, Wilson, and Massey, Bauer participated in the Aspen Institute’s Rodel Fellowship. In comparison, the Rodel Fellowship is focused on candidates nationwide rather than those just located in South Carolina (there are a few exceptions though where Liberty Fellowship has fellows from other states.) Rodel Fellowship is also focused on training their fellows nationwide and in foreign countries whereas fellows from Liberty Fellowship get their training in South Carolina.
The Rodel Institute has it as their mission is to “strengthen democracy and public leadership in the United States…we help America’s most promising leaders reach their full potential as public servants, deepen their commitment to democracy and the rule of law.” The Globalists will almost always call America a democracy in order dilute the understanding that America is a constitutional federal republic. By getting Americans to desire democracy, the Globalists get closer to their goal of converting America to a totalitarian state as shown in the image below.
America’s founding fathers were very clear in their opposition to democracy as they never mentioned the word democracy anywhere in the U.S. Constitution. James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and Samuel Adams were clear in their warnings against it as shown by their quotes in the images below.
The most highly regarded man at the Rodel Fellowship has been former Congressman Mickey Edwards from Oklahoma who is the organization’s founding executive director. Edwards was a founding trustee of The Heritage Foundation and a former Chair of CPAC. In 2024, Edwards endorsed Rodel fellow Kamala Harris for President.
As a benefit to book authors, the Rodel Institute now has an Edwards Book Award, named in honor of Mickey Edwards, which carries an honorarium of $10,0000 to the winner. In 2024, books that made it to the shortlist of the contest included these titles: Justice By Means of Democracy, Consistent Democracy, and Democracy in Darkness.
Edwards is currently a vice president of the Aspen Institute and is also an Advisory Council Member for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. If you are to view Edwards only by his associations, it’s easy to figure out that he is a Globalist tied to organizations that are deliberately working to destroy America. Edwards is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences which honors Anthony Fauci (see image below).
A decade after becoming part of the Aspen Institute, Bauer became a paid contributor for CNN. He worked for the criminal news network from 2016 to 2019.
While working for CNN, Bauer’s colleague at CNN participated in an Aspen Institute discussion with CIA Director John Brennan and former US Director of Intelligence James Clapper. During the discussion, they discussed what they called “President Trump’s embattled relationship with the Intelligence community.”

While still working for CNN, Bauer praised his Aspen Institute fellow Trey Gowdy on his new job as a Fox News Contributor stating, “This guy is incredible and I will enjoy watching him give a true conservative perspective.” The owner of Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, had a direct connection to the Aspen Institute as his daughter-in-law, Kathryn Murdoch, is a member. Rupert Murdoch himself has been a longtime member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an organization that we previously mentioned Mickey Edwards was a member of.
Bauer’s connections to the Deep State must be understood by South Carolinians as South Carolina has a very big Aspen Institute problem. With the Rodel Institute and Liberty Fellowship targeting our best and brightest in their young adult years, many talented professionals in our state are acting as pied pipers for The Aspen Institute.
To push us from americanism towards marxism (ex. the push for SEL in every public school) their formula is simple, the Aspen Institute props up Republicans that are barely conservative on anything and they, the Aspen Institute, makes them appear as the “respected” conservatives in the Republican Party. Next, those “respected” conservatives are groomed to promote dialogue with the marxist-left and to work with the marxist-left, even if it means crossing party lines.
In the comments found in Bauer’s LinkedIn post featuring Kamala Harris, you can see how his comments show his resolute support for working with those who support marxism. The honorable action to take as an American is to not work with them and to fiercely work against them.
In American history, the most recent well-known example of a “respected” conservative that was groomed to be a pied piper for the Deep State was the late William F. Buckley, Jr. It should be a goal of Americans to never become a pied piper nor allow others to become pied pipers for the Deep State.
